Comment: Most likely due to virus attack (using Norton AV) I experienced some problems with my computer which I wasn't able to solve and therefore yesterday performed re-installation of the operational system.
Immediatelly after that I visited grisoft web page where I downloaded the free (trial) version of AVG.
However, today my computer showed signs that there is something wrong again.Eg.under Task Manager I could see the CPU usage 100% at all times from the first moment I started the computer.
I therefore went to Run 'msconfig'; and on Startup tab disabled all Startup items. Then I manually enabled those items one by one and did restart of the computer each time I changed the setting to detect if that's what causes the problem. Eventually I got to Startup Item - yaemu- which seemed to be the one responsible for all the mess. I learned that yaemu.exe is a kind of virus and is considered as a serious threat to the computer.
I repeatedly used AVG's complete scan to check the computer but only got test results with no viruses detected.
I would like to ask you what steps should I take to solve the problem, if there is any known solution.
Your help heaps appreciated.
Kind regards
Radek
